Other automakers are adopting a similar strategy, with CNG options expected to be added to vehicles such as the Brezza, Seltos, Creta, Venue, Sonet, and Alcazar.

Altroz's CNG kit will almost certainly be the same as Nexon's. Both vehicles are powered by the identical engines, 1.2 litre turbo petrol and 1.5 litre turbo diesel.

The Altroz luxury hatchback features an extra 1.2-litre NA petrol engine option.

This is the same as Tiago and Tigor's. The Nexon and Altroz will most likely have a CNG option with the 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine.

Altroz's power and torque output are anticipated to decline by 10-15 PS while operating on CNG. The Altroz's 1.2-litre turbo fuel engine provides 110 PS and 140 Nm peak torque.

The car have 2 gearbox options:  5-speed manual and  6-speed DCA transmission. Performance on Nexon is greater, with 120 PS and 170 Nm.

6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT transmissions are available. Manual transmission will be available on CNG Altroz and Nexon models.

The Altroz CNG will have the same equipment list as the petrol models. CNG is available with mid-spec and top-spec Tiago and Tigor models such as XZ+.

If CNG is offered with the Altroz XZ+ model, important features will include projector headlights, R16 laser alloy wheels, and a black contrast roof.
